I’m Zachary Hulo, a husband, father, and Virginian who believes that strong communities begin with strong values.

For me, those values can be summed up in three words:

God. Family. Country.

God

My faith in Jesus Christ guides my life, how I raise my family, and how I approach service to others.

As a preacher of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, I believe faith should never be treated as something that must be left at the door when we participate in public life. Our government represents people of many different beliefs, but Americans should always be free to live by their convictions, speak openly about their faith, and allow their values to guide their involvement in their communities.

Family

I’m a husband and father of seven. Being a father has shaped the way I see our schools, our economy, and the decisions made by government.

Parents carry the responsibility of raising their children, and I believe they should be the ones that decide where and who their children's education comes from.

I want Virginia to be a place where families can afford to live, where parents have choices, where our children receive a quality education, and where the next generation has opportunities to succeed close to home.

Country

I love this country and believe the freedoms we inherited come with a responsibility to preserve them for the generations that follow us.

That means protecting individual liberty, supporting American workers, respecting the Constitution, keeping government accountable, and ensuring that the people—not special interests or large corporations—have a meaningful voice in the decisions affecting their communities.

Why I’m Running

I’m running for the Virginia House of Delegates because I want the people of District 66 to have a strong voice in Richmond.

I believe public office is a position of service, not status. Representatives should listen to the people they serve, be accessible, ask difficult questions, and remember that the seat ultimately belongs to the citizens who entrusted them with it.

I want to help build a Virginia where families can thrive, parents can lead, American workers can prosper, communities can determine their futures, and our fundamental freedoms remain secure.

That is what God. Family. Country. means to me—and those are the principles I will carry with me every day in public service.
